Bud is a small coastal community on the north west coast of Norway. Not the warmest of summer places, as shown in thes picture from August 2005.

Great photo! I like the colour of the painted wood and its textures, and the "compactness" of the buildings. My family in South Africa has a history in boat-building (many years ago) so this appeals to me!
